Wonderful photos, Wesley. I must tell you, though--I'd always rather liked praying mantises until I saw some pictures last year (I think it was Bird Watcher's Digest) of a praying mantis that had caught and was eating a hummingbird. *Shudder* So you might want to re-locate Mr. Mantis away from your hummingbird feeder.


Great photos. The mantis is so full of character and detail. It is interesting how an insect can evoke such reactions.


I don't think I've been here before for WW. GREAT mantis photos. They seem to have such an air of superiority to them...
