I will tell you the secret: have another baby! My daughter was a handful, always needing my attention, I remember I couldn't even read the newspaper for at least 2 years!

Then, when she was 2 1/2, we brought home our son. What a wonderful playmate and distraction! It was fantastic. She loved to bring him toys, play with him, keep him occupied for me, so I could get some things done around the house--as well as bring me diapers, wipes, burp cloths, etc.

Yes, there were fights, but more often they are great friends and have a good time together, even five years later!

However, it's a little difficult when your husband is 300 miles away. Phone sex is the safest sex of all, darn it.
