Today's joy is...
Coming down steadily, sticking just a little, predicted accumulation of 3-6 inches (although that's the Asheville weather station which almost never gets it right for our county, sheltered as we are by so many high peaks).
And that my mom gets to keep her weather-predicting, Grandma-knows-everything cred with Owen.
Of course, I don't get to go do my Christmas shopping (all by myself) as planned, but maybe instead we'll play outside or make some ornaments or drink hot chocolate or have a living room picnic or watch The Snowy Day.
Or dance to Christmas music: I've got my Time-Life Treasury of Christmas collection four-CD set out of storage. I'm ready for some Bing Crosby singing "White Christmas" while it snows outside. That's something to be joyful about.
