Dinner at home

Big trout On the menu tonight:

fresh trout from the river;

potatoes from our friend's garden with chives and parsley from our porch;

yellow tomatoes from the farm stand, grown just over the mountain;

cole slaw made with cabbage from our friend's garden;

squash fritters from our own garden;

a glass of wine;

table set with our wedding china;

my favorite daisy napkin rings and cloth napkins;

new pottery bowl in the middle of the table (gift from Paul to me);

a birthday song led by my girl;

family around the table, happy company.

Lovely lovely dinner.
