(or..in the town I grew up in, which is near enough to the town I currently live in to still claim as my hometown)...is the wonderful NC Arboretum. We spent a lovely Friday family picnic day there this weekend and took many photos. If you live in or near or plan on visiting Asheville, NC, this is well worth an afternoon of your time.
Current exhibits include: Kaleidescope, an Outdoor Sculpture Exhibit; nature photography by Cynthia Walker; and landscape art by Luke Allsbrook (amazing). Add to that the Arboretum's lovely gardens, grounds, and walking trails, you have a truly special place.
